UPPER DIR: Girls clinched top positions as the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Sheringal, announced results of the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts examinations on Friday.
Nuzhat Minhas, a student of the Girls Degree Collage Chitral, secured first position by getting 467 out of 550 marks while another student of the same college, Zarshi Atta, stood second in the university by securing 459 marks. Fazal Hayat, student of the Government Degree Collage in Dir stood third by obtaining 456 marks.
Around 10,783 candidates had appeared in the examination and 4,077 were declared successful with a passing percentage of 38.
In the Bachelor of Commerce examination students from Chitral district got top three positions.
Alamgir Khan of the Chamber Collage of Commerce, Garam Chashma, got 978 marks out of 1400; Imtiaz Ali of the Government Postgraduate Collage of Management Sciences, Chitral, obtained 968 marks and Syed Tanvir Hussain of the same college stood third by securing 947 marks.
Regular students of various colleges could get their Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) from their respective colleges while private students can get their DMCs from the university sub campuses in Chitral, Booni and Wari. Private students from Drosh in Chitral were directed to get their DMCs from Hira Model College, Drosh. The students can check their result on www.sbbu.edu.pk.
