Two killed in Islamabad

Islamabad: A man, working with the US embassy in Islamabad, was gunned down by unidentified assailants in front of his house in Sector G-9/2 in the wee hours of Sunday, police said.
When Iqbal Baig, 27, who was working in D & A Section of the US embassy, reached his home (House 146, Street 36/C, Sector G-9/2) at 2 a.m., some persons intercepted him, but he shouted and called his younger brother Anwar Baig who rushed out of his room and clutched one of them.
But he opened firing at Iqbal Baig who sustained a bullet in his chest and died on the spot.
In another episode, a man identified as Awais, a resident of Afghan Camp in Sector I-12, was killed in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi Police Station.
