Rootsians were in the forefront in their city’s historic project by decorating the Metro Bus Terminal no. 1 on the theme Independence of Pakistan.
The teachers and the students under the leadership of Mrs. Riffat Mushtaq, founder & chairperson of the Roots School System (RSS), spent days designing and planning a grand opening of the Metro Bus Terminal no. 1 in Saddar in collaboration with the district administration.
The Rootsians contributed their share by sponsoring decoration of the Metro Terminal. They displayed their aesthetic skills at the Saddar Station. Students were clad in green clothes. The enthusiastic and fervent pupils were holding flags of Pakistan and singing national songs with full spirit. Students were holding banners with slogans like ‘Thank You Prime Minister,’ ‘Thank You Chief Minister.’ The Saddar Station was adorned with Pakistan flags and ‘Peace Doves’. Rootsians decorated the station keeping the theme ‘Independence of Pakistan’ in mind.
