A two-day teacher training workshop, with 95 teachers from 42 schools of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in attendance, concluded at the Sheikh Zayed International Academy (SZIA) here on Thursday.
Designed to enhance the professional prowess of teachers, the course was based on content and language integrated learning, concept-based learning, cooperative learning, thinking and critical skills, and cultural awareness using the Oxford Discover Series.
The workshop was conducted by the principal of SZIA, Wafaa Abdul Ghaffar, who offered the participants an insightful view on curriculum integration within a subject and across the curriculum.
The course was arranged to enable teachers to professionally benefit from the worldwide experience and knowledge of Wafa, who has 26 years of professional expertise in the field of education, curriculum development, and teacher training.
