Woman torture case accused remanded

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions court on Thursday granted four-day physical remand of two people accused of torturing a woman after she refused to dance for them. Police produced accused Faisal, husband of victim woman Asma Aziz, and other accused before the court and sought physical remand to carry out investigation. The court accepted the plea and granted remand of the accused in police custody. On March 26, Asma Aziz's husband and two of his employees tortured her after her refusal to dance for them. The accused brutally tortured the woman and shaved her head off to humiliate her.
