Man commits suicide over money issue

A man committed suicide by cutting his jugular vein on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Amjad of Ali Park South Cantt. Police said Amjad was upset over poor financial conditions. On the day of incident, Amjad cut his jugular vein with a blade. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced brought dead. Police handed over the body to the family after completing legal formalities.
MAN DIES: A 55-year-old man died and his other five family members received burns when a cylinder exploded in their house in Samsani village, Johar Town. The deceased man was identified as Ghulam Nabi, while the injured persons were identified as Naseem Bibi, wife of Ghulam Nabi, Akram, 17, Shaukat, Taiyaba, 7, and Lubna, 8. Upon being informed, the rescuers rushed to the spot, pulled the body of Ghulam Nabi and other five survivors out of the debris and rushed them to a local hospital where condition of Naseem Bibi, wife of Ghulam Nabi, was said to be precarious.
Meanwhile, two-year-old boy was killed by a speeding tractor-trolley in Chungi Amar Sadhu area. The boy yet to be identified was playing outside his house when he came under the wheels of a tractor-trolley, resulting into his instant death. Body was removed to morgue.
