LAHORE
Parliamentarians of Pakistan Muslim League-N belonging to various districts called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here Tuesday.
According to a handout, speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that public service was the PML-N mission and it would be furthered as a movement during next two and a half years. He said the Punjab government had taken a number of measures for improving the living standard of deprived segments of the society. He said the provincial government had set up Punjab Social Protection Authority for bringing all social programmes under one roof. He said that steps would be continued in future as well for the welfare of extremely poor families. He said that destiny of the country could be changed by adopting the principles of honesty, hard work and commitment.
Those who met the chief minister included MPAs Azad Ali Tabassum, Asghar Munda, Khurram Chattha and Arif Sandela. Manshaullah Butt MPA was also present on the occasion.
