PUNJAB University (PU) has awarded PhD degree to Salma Umber in the subject of Communication Studies after approval of her thesis entitled “Media and Conflict Resolution: Portrayal of Kashmir Issue in the Editorials of US Press 1998-2008”.
According to a press release, she completed her PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr Noshina Saleem and Dean FBSS Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakir. She is presently serving as Assistant Professor and Coordinator in the Department of Mass Communication at Government College University (GCU) Faisalabad. Meanwhile, the PU Examinations Department has issued written date sheets of MBBS Final Professional (New Re-Organised Scheme & Re-Organised Scheme) Supplementary Examination 2014.
