LAHORE
A NEW spell of rains-thundershowers is going to affect the northern, northeastern and parts of central eastern Pakistan over the weekend.
This spell is likely to cause rains in the city in addition to halting summer’s speedy progress.
An active weather system (westerly wave) is expected to enter Pakistan on Saturday. Under the influence of this weather system, rains-thundershowers expected from coming weekend are rather unusual for this time of the year.
In the next 24 hours however, weather will remain dry and hot in most parts of the country including provincial metropolis.
