LAHORE
The EDO Education Lahore has allegedly been delaying a reply in a case of a former schoolteacher.
Former EST Ashraf Ali Karanvi has now appealed to the chief minister to take notice of the delay and provide justice to him. Ashraf Ali Karanvi had filed an application with the Chief Minister’s Office in 2013, seeking justice vis-à-vis making his duty period into leave without pay. The teacher said on December 24, 2013, the School Education Department Punjab had sought para-wise comments from the EDO Lahore in the case but despite many reminders from the department the officer did not submit required information. Karanvi has now appealed to the CM to take action against the EDO as he was not allegedly obeying orders of the government. The News could not reach the EDO despite repeated attempts on his mobile phone.
