A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) and a poultry feeds’ company to provide scholarships to UVAS students here on Thursday.
As per the MoU, five deserving students pursuing DVM and BS (Hons) Poultry Science of the UVAS will be provided financial support/scholarships on merit every year and Rs 20,000 per semester will be paid to the each selected student through the Directorate of University Advancement and Financial Aid (UAFA) of the UVAS. The representatives of the company will be involved in the selection process of deserving talented students for the scholarship.
