Muggers kill man over resistance

A factory worker was shot dead in the Zaman Town police limits on Thursday for trying to resist a mugging bid.
Police said 25-year-old Owais was intercepted by two men on a motorcycle near Nasir Jump in Korangi No 1-1/2 and was shot at close range as he attempted to resist their demands.
He was rushed to the JPMC in critical condition but passed away en route. Police said the victim was a resident of Korangi No 5 and was heading back home from work when tragedy struck.
