Pasban leader, sons remanded

Karachi An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday remanded the custody of Pasban secretary general Usman Moazam and his two sons to the Rangers for 90 days. The accused were claimed to be facilitating terrorists and criminals. The law officer of the Rangers submitted the accused was involved in criminal activities

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday remanded the custody of Pasban secretary general Usman Moazam and his two sons to the Rangers for 90 days.
The accused were claimed to be facilitating terrorists and criminals. The law officer of the Rangers submitted the accused was involved in criminal activities and provided assistance to criminals and terrorists; therefore he needed to be thoroughly interrogated.
Mozzam was arrested along with his two sons on July 20 during an operation in Samanabad, Federal B Area, block 19. He had also contested the NA-246 by-election.
