The Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Justice Faisal Arab on Wednesday dismissed two civil judges from service and asked another to take compulsory retirement on Wednesday on charges of corruption.
The competent authority had issued show cause notices to Ghulam Shabbir, Muzafar Ali Rajput and Salma Phulpoto on grounds of corruption.
The authorised officer after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the delinquent officers and perusing records, came to the conclusion that the judicial officers were guilty of the charges levelled against them and therefore one of the major penalties prescribed under Rule 4 (1)(b) of the Sindh Civil Servants (efficiency and discipline) Rules 1973 should be awarded to them.
Justice Faisal Arab after considering the facts and the circumstances of the matter, and hearing the delinquent officers in person, decided to dismiss impose Ghulam Shabbir and Muzafar Ali Rajput while asking Salma Phulpoto to take compulsory retirement.

Transfers and postings
The Sindh High Court on Wednesday issued the notification for appointments, transfer and postings of following judicial officers on posts of Additional District and Sessions Judges with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the SHC registrar, Haleem Ahmed has been posted in the district and sessions judge in district West, Karachi. Ghulam Murtaza Maitlo was appointed as district and sessions judge in district East, Karachi.
Hatim Aziz Solangi was appointed as district and sessions judge in district Khairpur while Naveed Ahmed Soomro was appointment in district West, Karachi.
Abdul Hafeez Maitlo was appointed in district and sessions court Larkana and Aurangzeb Alamgir Kazi in Hyderabad.
Rajesh Chundar Rajput was appointed as the district and sessions judge Pano Aqil while Sarah Junejo was appointed in district South, Karachi.
Shyam Lal was appointed in district and sessions court Larkana against a vacant post.
Hafiz Misbahuddin was appointed in Sukkur.
Additional district and sessions judge Abdul Shakoor Shaikh was transferred from Sukkur to Dadu.
