An alleged Lyari gangster was gunned down by armed men near Sango Lane while four bodies were found in different areas on Sunday.
An unidentified, 22-year-old man was gunned down in Brohi Mohalla in Lyari by two armed men riding a motorcycle while he was going on his bike.
On information by the area people the Kalakot police reached the spot and shifted the body to Civil Hospital for postmortem.
The police claimed that the deceased was a gangster and belonged to Baba Ladla Group and Uzair Baloch group was involved in his killing.

Bodies found
Three bullet-riddled bodies were found near Warsi Hotel in Chanesar Goth.
The Mehmoodabad police on information by the area people reached the spot and shifted the recovered bodies to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for legal formalities.
Later, the police disclosed the identification of the deceased as Saleemuddin, Talha and Yasir ranging between 22-24 years.
Police have claimed that the deceased belonged to Adil Kashmiri Group of Malir and were hardened criminals. They were gunned down by the drug peddlers and arms and ammunition were also found near their bodies, the police added.
A body of a 25-year-old man bearing torture marks was found near Anda Morr graveyard in North Karachi.
A passerby saw the body and informed the police who shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a postmortem.
A MLO said that there were torture marks on the body and the victim was strangulated.
According to the police, unidentified killers after kidnapping the deceased killed him at some other place and later dumped his body near the graveyard.
Four robbers killed in encounter
Four alleged criminals were gunned down in an encounter with Mithadar police at Old Queens Road on Sunday.
According to the details, a call was received on the police helping that four armed men riding two motorcycles were looting cash and mobile phones from commuters at Old Queens Road.
Responding to the complaint, a police team reached the spot. The armed men opened fire at the team who retaliated and shot the four alleged criminals dead.
The bodies of the four deceased, identified as Ayaz Ali, Shabbir Ahmed, Mumtaz Khan and Ali Akbar, were shifted to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
SHO Mithadar Rao Rafiq told The News that the deceased, aged between 30-35 years, were wanted criminals who lived in Lyari. He claimed they had killed a businessman, Ghulam Fareed, a few days back.
The police had recovered four TT pistols, six snatched mobile phones and two snatched motorcycles from their possession.
Later, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families.

Two die in accidents
Two people were killed in two separate incidents on Sunday.
An unidentified man, said to be around 20 years of age, was knocked down to death by a recklessly-driven vehicle near Radio Pakistan at MA Jinnah Road while he was going on a motorcycle.
Akber Ali, 18, died due to electrocution in an under construction building near Old Sabzi Mandi while he was fixing an electric meter.

Seven held in Rangers’ raids
The Sindh Rangers arrested seven alleged criminals, including a target killer, during several raids in areas along University Road and in Lyari on Sunday.
A Rangers spokesman said that SMGs and other weapons were also seized during these raids.
