The Sindh local government department has issued orders to suspend 45 employees from the service of the municipal agencies of the city, apparently on the reason that these municipal staffers have been under detention of the Sindh Rangers for some days.
The notification issued on Friday by the local government for suspending these officials from service also ordered to seize their salaries.
The municipal officials and staffers facing suspension belong to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and the District Municipal Corporations.
Fifteen of the suspended municipal officials were of grade 17 and above, while rest of them were below than grade-17. The suspended municipal staffers have been under arrest of the Sindh Rangers for their alleged involvement in heinous crimes.
