The Sindh Home Department has moved two death row convicts associated with a banned terrorist organisation from Central Prison Sukkur to Central Jail Karachi after an anti-terrorism court (ATC) issued their death warrants for February 3.
Officials said on Saturday that Muhammad Azam and Attaullah were moved to Karachi via helicopter over security concerns and were being held in maximum security cells. Central Jail sources said the convicts had been moved to the prison several days ago but it was not publicised over security reasons.
