PESHAWAR: A two-day ‘ArtTech Festival’ got underway in the provincial capital on Saturday. The event is aimed at promoting the indigenous art and culture of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa globally through the effective use of information technology and to showcase the creative and innovative skills of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa youth to enable them to find opportunities of employment in the local and international jobs markets. The festival has been organised at the Peshawar Museum by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board in collaboration with the World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, Culture Development, Peshawar 2.0 and other partner organisations, said a handout. The festival focuses on three broader themes being storytelling, design for goods, and innovation and will offer technical workshops led by international and local expert groups.
