Hamza orders stern action against extortionists
Distributes keys of houses among 2010 flood victims in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the nation is thankful to the Turkish government for its all-out help during the 2010 floods.
He was speaking at a ceremony held to distribute keys of 206 houses constructed by a Turkish NGO – Kimse Yok Mu Solidarity and Aid Organization – for the flood victims at Allama Iqbal Town on Saturday. The houses have been constructed on 224 kanals of land at a cost of Rs 550 million. Hamza Shahbaz said that it was a dream of his father Mian Shahbaz Sharif that every flood victim should have a house and now this dream had been fulfilled.
He ordered the RPO and the DPO to deal extortionists with an iron hand to root out the menace from the society. He said the PML-N government believed in serving the people and completed the historic Metro Bus Project in Lahore and Solar System in Cholistan, Bahawalpur, in a short period. He appreciated the performance of DCO Farasat Iqbal Chaudhry and DPO Rana Abdul Jabbar. To a question regarding the rape of a five-year-old girl in Lahore, he said that stern action would be taken against the culprits.
Later, Hamza also visited Mirain Mula Model Village, Technical Training Centre and Model Middle School. He urged the students to pay full attention to their study. He directed the district government to make the procedure easy to enrol students in Model Middle School. Kimse Yok Mu Solidarity and Aid Organization president Ismail Cingoz, Khawaja Ahmed Hassan, provincial ministers Haroon Sultan Bukhari, Rana Sanaullah Khan, Rana Mashood Khan, MPA Qaswar Karim Langrial, Hammad Nawaz Tippu, Mian Imran Qureshi, PML-N president Muhammad Irshad Guzara, former tehsil nazim Sardar Muhammad Ibad Dogar, press club president Dr Khalid Mehmood Zafar Chaudhry, Commissioner Muhammad Amin Chaudhry, RPO Umar Hayat Khan Lalika and others were also present.
