MIRANSHAH: Military authorities are said to have killed 40 militants in the Shawal Valley of the volatile North Waziristan tribal region on Sunday.
The claim was made after militants attacked and killed Punjab Home Minister Col (retd) Shuja Khanzada, along with other people in the Attock city.“On intelligence information, the Pakistan Air Force fighter jets pounded the sanctuaries of the militants in the remote mountainous Shawal Valley and killed 40 terrorists,” a senior security official told The News.
