SUKKUR: Our country is already in a state of war and we should consider its sover- eignty first as non-political decisions will be detrimental for Pakistan.
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah, said this while talking to the media outside his residence in Sukkur on Sunday. Khursheed Shah said the Pak Army was facing a tough time in the ongoing Zarb-e- Azb Operation against terrorists in North Waziristan and other areas.
He said: “I have asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take parliament into confidence over Yemen issue and also summon an All Parties Conference (APC). “If we can hold on other issues why it can’t be held over Saudi-Yemen matter?” He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy brotherly relations.
He said indiscriminate action against terrorists in Karachi was being carried out and no particular political party is being targeted. However, the accused apprehended from Muttahida Qaumi Movement headquarters Nine Zero are under custody.
There should not be any armed wing in the political parties, he asserted and added that no party was being push against the wall.Khurshid Shah said it would be better for Governor Sindh to resign. He said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will not attend the Death Anniversary Programs on April 4.
