KARACHI: MQM’s Rabita Committee (RC) has strongly condemned statements by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, saying they were akin to a “threat.”
In a statement issued here by RC it said that Imran Khan at the clutches of establishment wanted to occupy Karachi. It stated that Khan should openly tell his point of view instead of running from Kashmir issue.
RC said Imran Khan was making loud claims as if God forbid he was nauzobillah Allah. It said Imran Khan should not make hollow claims on earth as no one knows when Allah can call anyone.
RC said Imran should raise voice against the atrocities on Kashmiri brothers instead of raising objections on MQM leader and trying to gain publicity.
It said Imran Khan on the one hand says that by seeing such public meeting he recalls the public meeting of Altaf while on the other he says that at the public meeting all are dead bodies and people are brought at meetings by force.
Meanwhile, MQM MPAs staged a demonstration against the prejudiced journalism and media trial against MQM here at Sindh Assembly building.
Faisal Sabzwari speaking on the occasion said we want justice. “We will raise voice at every level against the media trial of MQM.” He said MQM’s character assassination was being done on the media.Syed Sardar Ahmed speaking at the rally said MQM’s media trial should be stopped.
