ISLAMABAD: The PTI Chief Organiser Saifullah Niazi warned Sunday that the sugar mills of the cartel could be taken over by the government if they did not mend their ways.
“Those threatening the prime minister with an increase of sugar price per kilo to Rs110 are foolish. They must know that their sugar mills can be confiscated by the government,” he asserted in a statement issued here by the PTI Central Media Department.
It was high time, he emphasised, that the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) must fix limit of production of every sugar mill to break the back of cartel.
