Health department worker, son injured in attack

OKARA: An employee of the health department and his son were inflicted injuries here on Saturday.

Rana Zafarullah was present at his office when accused Nasir and his accomplices came and started beating him with rods and clubs.

When his son tried to interfere, the accused also injured him. Police registered a case.

550 BOOKED OVER SECTION 144 VIOLATION: Police booked 550 people on the charges of violating section 144. The police also impounded 1,800 motorcycles and vehicles.

PROFITEER HELD: Police booked a profiteer and recovered 450 wheat flour bags from his godown. Police arrested trader Naeem Saleem and booked him.

One month ago Irshad Hussain was shot added at night in village 6/4L. Police team arrested Muhammad Saud and his accomplices of village 7/4L. According to police, Saud was shot dead over a love affair issue.

In the second murder case real mother turned out to be the killer of her 6-year-old son Fahad Hussain in Shergarh Town. Shergarh police arrested Sonia on charges of planning the murder of her son.
