‘38 sale points set up to provide flour at subsidised rates’

SIALKOT: Assistant Commissioner Javeria Maqbool Randhawa has said that 38 sale points have been set up to provide flour to the people on subsidised rates during the lockdown in the district. In a statement, she added that 20kg bag of flour would be available at Rs 805 at all sale points established in trucks and out of which 17 were in tehsil Sialkot. She maintained that total 11,850 flour bags would be supplied to the sale points on daily basis to facilitate the masses during the lockdown. The deputy commissioner, the assistant commissioners of all four tehsils, the price control magistrates and officials of the Food Department would monitor all the sale points on regular basis, she told.
