Accountability now

This refers to the Viewpoint, ‘A day of momentous events’ (August 27, page 4). There is hardly any reason to be happy on the arrest of a former federal minister or the bail obtained by the Sindh chief secretary or the PTI’s hat-rick.
For the people of this country, the day of reckoning will come when godfathers of crime/corruption are arrested and jailed. The moment for jubilation will dawn the moment ruthless and across-the-board accountability begins.
