NAB recently seized a fleet of ambulances that were allegedly used as commercial vehicles and arrested the cousin of the former president in this regard. These ambulances were donated for flood victims in 2010. Another shocking case is that of the former taluka municipal officer of the Sujawal district – incidentally another Zardari. He is accused of corruption and embezzlement worth millions of rupees.
These two cases indicate the extent of mismanagement and corruption in Sindh. Until such corrupt elements are not punished the system will continue to suffer.
