According to a news report, SNGP is a separate entity independent of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources as is evident from the fixing of LNG price of Rs380/mmBtu.
It needs to be clarified which of the two – the Petroleum Ministry or SNGP – is the controlling authority. Moreover, the exact utilisation of 200mmcfd of RLNG injected into the system will be diverted either to domestic use, CNG, fertiliser or the power sector. In addition, pricing and distribution of 200mmcfd of RLNG should also be clarified.
