A stop with no bus

Bus stops in Karachi it seems have lost their literal sense. Hardly are they used for the purpose they were initially built for. In fact they have become a sort of refuge for beggars and drug addicts. And all this is going on in full view of the government agencies.
People also lack civic sense. They put their lives at risk by embarking and departing from buses in the middle of the road. It is hard to point out which side shares the maximum blame for this sorry state – bus drivers or people. For example, at the Karachi University bus stop, students prefer to catch buses miles away from the bus stop. To be a good citizen it is our duty to abide by the rules. This way we can set examples for others to follow.
