Second, madressahs teach students to become only prayer leaders or fiery orators. Third, the scope of their curriculum is narrow and the essence of Islam has been totally forgotten. This is why there is a dire need to overhaul the system of madressahs to bring a positive change in society. Those opposing the reforms should be made realised that it is not being done at the behest of some foreign power. Everyone should contribute towards this noble cause to make Pakistan a prosperous country.
