National shooting C’ship next month

KARACHI: The 22nd edition of National Shooting championship will be held in Jhelum under the auspices of Pakistan Army in February.
Though the date has not yet been confirmed, the championship is expected to start from February 20.
The 21st edition was hosted by Sindh Rifle Association in Karachi in which Navy retained their crown, while Army were the runners-up. Sindh stood third.
There will be more than 20 events with 250 shooters participating from across the country.
After this championship, National Rifle Association of Pakistan will organise the Youth and Junior championship in Peshawar in June, which will be followed by Chief of Naval Staff championship in Karachi in September-October.
