BU holds course on ‘Personal Development’ for ladies

A two-days course on ‘Personal Development’ was held at Bahria University Islamabad by Department of Professional Psychology for ladies. The objective of the course was to enhance awareness of psychological and emotional understanding in practical life settings such as stress and emotional management through personal development.
Begum Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah NI (M), graced the occasion as chief guest on the closing ceremony. While talking to the audience, she appreciated the efforts of Bahria University and purpose of training and also emphasised the importance of similar training in future. She said that it is important to improve the functioning of ladies as an effective family members through understanding and developing family relations.
The resource persons of the workshop were Dr. Uzma Masroor, Head of the Professional Psychology Department BUIC, with other faculty members. Focus of the workshop was on personal development aimed at discovering valuable personal information that builds upon your growth and progression for better life and improved mental health. It involves physical social, emotional, mental and spiritual growth that allows person to live a productive and satisfying life within the customs and regulations of their society.
At the closing ceremony, Begum Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah NI (M), distributed certificates among the participants. Registrar Bahria University, Rear Admiral (r) Shahid Saeed HI (M), thanked Begum Sahiba for gracing the occasion and resource persons of training for their interest and keenness.
