LAHORE

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Punjab former Organiser Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said incumbent rulers’ failed policies are more dangerous than “swine flu”.

Sarwar was addressing the PTI workers convention on Saturday. PTI leaders Rana Asif Tauseef, former-MPA Dr. Asad Muazzam, Farrukh Habib and others were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, he also named the rulers as “Liars rulers” for failing to fulfill their promise of ending loadshedding within six months. He said power and gas loadshedding had actually “burnt” the industry.

He said the PML-N should accept that it was incapable to bring the nation out of multiple crises. Instead, he said, the PML-N government’s failed policies were damaging the whole country. He said rulers’ agenda was not the welfare of masses but their own progress and prosperity. He said the party membership would further strengthen the party and the PTI would form the next government.

The former PTI Punjab organiser said the PML-N rulers had stated before coming into power that it would end loadshedding within six months and added that they would change their name if they failed to end loadshedding within the stipulated time period. However, he said the PML-N rulers had completely failed in ending power and gas loadshedding despite the passing of many months.

Sarwar said two major power breakdowns in a week had exposed the incompetence of rulers.

Last year, he said the country had been in complete blackout for three times during winter and what remedial measures the PML-N had taken? He asked.

He said the PML-N rulers had no experience except doing corruption and looting of the national wealth which was multiplying the crises. Chaudhry Sarwar said the PML-N government could not constitute the Bait-ul-Maal Committees even after the passing of one year which had deprived over 40,000 families of their due financial assistance and suffering due to abject poverty while the rulers were playing as silent spectators. He said the Bait-ul-Mall had failed to distribute half of its funds in the absence of district committees. “This is the reason that the PTI is saying that rulers’ agenda is not public welfare but their own progress and prosperity,” he added.
