Vocational training scholarships

KARACHI: As part of its CSR programme, Hub Power Company (Hubco) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with The Hunar Foundation (THF) Karachi to provide scholarships for vocational skills training to 10 students living near Hub Power Plant, Balochistan, a statement said on Monday.
With an extensive CSR and community outreach programme, Hubco aims at improving the living standards of the local communities by offering them opportunities of development through capacity-building and competency enhancement vocational trainings, it said.
Hubco will provide scholarships to 10 students, covering their tuition fee, boarding and lodging charges, for studying at the THF Karachi for a period of one year.
