KP journalists rendered great sacrifices: Inayat
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtun-khwa Senior Minister Inayat Ullah Khan has said that KP journalists had been remarkable in the war on terror adding that they had rendered great sacrifices in this regard.
He said this while congratulating the newly elected cabinet of Abbottabad Press Club for its success in the annual elections of the press club.He said that a number of journalists from this region had even laid down their lives in line with the discharge of their professional duties that the nation is really proud of.
In a messages of felicitation to the president elect and his other cabinet members he termed the success of Sardar Shafique and others as an honour and trust of the media community in them. He said that the newly elected cabinet of APC would endeavor more to come up to the expectations of the journalist community as well as vitalize their professional skills for larger interest of the people.
Inayat Ullah Khan expressed the hope that the newly elected president and his colleagues would utilize their persona for the welfare of journalists uplift of the press club and upholding elevated journalistic values. He urged upon the journalists to play their vital role in projecting the positive steps of KP government for the well being of people and province.
