MANSEHRA: The protesters blocked the main artery to traffic for many hours against the prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding in Darband and its suburbs on Friday.
Led by Muhammad Liaqat and Habib Basikheil, the protesters assembled at the main chowk and blocked Darband-Oghi road to traffic for many hours. They also raised slogans against Pesco and demanded an immediate end to the loadshedding.
Liaqat said that 14 hours loadshedding was being carried out in the Darband and its suburbs.
Speaking on the occasion, Basikheil said they would block the Darband-Oghi road to traffic for an indefinite period if the prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding was not brought to an end.
