Rs722m UHE budget approved

LAHORE:The 6th Syndicate committee meeting was held at University of Home Economics, Lahore, on Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen, UHE Vice-Chancellor. Members of the syndicate committee, including Justice Jawad Huassan, Lahore High Court, PHEC Chairman, Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid, UET VC, Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, GCWU Sialkot VC Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar and others attended the meeting.

The Syndicate approved Rs722.256 million budget for 2021-2022 of the UHE and creation of new staff and faculty positions. The Syndicate committee approved agenda items which included several significant decisions. The Syndicate confirmed minutes of its 5th meeting as the draft was circulated among the participants and their suggestions had been incorporated.
