Decision to oust Dr Hisham as minister opposed
LAKKI MARWAT: A grand jirga of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) supporters on Tuesday asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to review the decision to de-notify Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan as the provincial minister.
Addressing a grand jirga held at Titterkhel, former councillor Shafiullah Khan, Idrees Khan, Najibullah, Arab Khan, Javed Khan, Engr Arif Khan and others said that Dr Hisham Inamullah was deprived of the ministry under a conspiracy in which the party stalwarts were involved.
They said that it was an anti-people step taken by the government by getting resignation from Dr Hisham. They said that Lakki Marwat was one of the underdeveloped districts of the southern area, which was deprived of the lone minister. “Dr Hisham has been delivering to uplift the district according to his promises made with the people during electioneering,” Idrees Khan said. They said that a committee would be constituted to chalk out a future course of action.
