Dr Alvi, wife visit PIMS, orphanage

Islamabad: President Dr Arif Alvi and First Lady Samina Alvi visited the Pakistan institute of Medical Sciences here on Wednesday to extend Eid greetings to patients.
The hospital's top bosses took them around the premises. The visitors met patients at the children's ward and inquired after them. Dr Alvi also saw patients in other wards and prayed for their early recovery. He said he had shown up to share Eid festivities with patients. The president along with the first lady also visited the Darul Ehsaas orphanage and exchanged Eid greetings with the children. He called for the care of the orphans and poor people, especially on festivals like Eid. The president urged the children to work hard and care for others.
