Babar may become No 1 batsman in T20Is

LAHORE: Pakistan's star batsman Babar Azam is close to becoming the number one batsman in T20I cricket.

At the moment, Babar is second in the T20I rankings of batsmen while England's David Milan is first. However, during this series, David Milan has failed miserably so far and his score has not even entered the double figures.

On the other hand, Babar played a brilliant innings of 85 runs in the first match. He scored 22 in the second match. If he scored a fifty in the third match, he could get the first position. On the other hand, wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan can join the top 10 batsmen in T20I cricket. He is currently ranked 11th with 640 points while the 10th ranked batsman has 645 points.
