5kg heroin seized in Jamrud

LANDIKOTAL: Police on Monday claimed to have seized 5kg heroin in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber district.District Police Officer Wasim Riaz said that the cops recovered 5kg heroin in two raids and arrested two traffickers identified as Khairullah and Noor Muhammad. He said those arrested were Afghan nationals. He said Jamrud police also seized 200 grams ice drug in Wazirdand area and arrested Sher Ghani, an Afghan national.
Meanwhile, residents blocked Pak-Afghan highway for several hours in Sultankhel area of Landikotal to protest against the hours-long power load-shedding.
