18 more test positive for Covid-19 in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: The number of coronavirus infected patients reached 5,535 as 18 more persons reported positive for the viral infection in the district on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner Mir Reza Ozgen said that the viral infection was fast-spreading due to non-observance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) by the people. He said that 5,222 patients had recovered from the fatal disease after medication. The official added that 206 active cases of coronavirus were registered in the district so far.
He expressed concern over the sudden spike in the coronavirus cases and appealed the people to follow health protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the upcoming Eid to stem the viral disease and save precious lives.
