A woman was among two people who lost their lives in traffic accidents in the city on Saturday.
The woman was seriously wounded when a vehicle hit knocked her down while she was crossing the road near the Jamali flyover within the limits of the Sachal police station.
She was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
Police identified the victim as 30-year-old Hina, wife of Zeeshan, and said she was a resident of the same area.
Separately, a man, whose identity could not be ascertained immediately, died after a vehicle hit him on the Super Highway. The dead was taken to the ASH for an autopsy and later his body was shifted to a morgue.
