Couple held for kidnapping minor boy

Police on Saturday arrested a couple for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a minor boy within the limits of the Bin Qasim Town police station.
Police said they had arrested a man, Sameer Gopang, and his wife, Perveen, and recovered a four-year-old boy, Shahbaz, from their custody. Quoting the abducted boy’s father, police explained that the couple had recently started shifted to a rented house in their area and on Friday, they kidnapped the boy when he was playing outside his house and took him away in a rickshaw.
Following the incident, the family registered a kidnapping case with the Bin Qasim police, which arrested the
suspects within 24 hours and recovered the abducted boy. Further investigations are under way.
