A man and his son died in a road accident on Northern Bypass on Saturday.
According to the Mochko police, the accident took place when a speedy vehicle hit their motorcycle. The victims were taken to the Civil Hospital, where they two succumbed to their injuries.
They were identified as 28-year-old Raza while his son as Omar, 12. The police said the driver managed his escape. A case has been registered while an investigation is under way.
Earlier on Friday, a man and his nephew drowned in the sea while picknicking at French Beach in the city. They were identified as 49-year-old Shafiq, son of Siddiq, and his 23-year-old nephew Shoaib, son of Zahid. The incident occurred within the limits of the Mauripur police station. The bodies were retrieved by divers.
