Nokkundi is one of the most underprivileged and backward cities of Balochistan. It has a population of about 18,000 people who are deprived of almost all fundamental facilities of life. One of the major problems that the city has been facing for a long time is an acute shortage of water. There are no proper channels to supply drinking water to people. Also, water tanker suppliers demand higher rates, making it difficult for the poor to afford water.
The authorities must take steps to facilitate people and make sure that every household has access to clean drinking water.
