Mazari meets Elahi, praises display of Quranic verses in Punjab PA

LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari called on PA Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his residence here on Wednesday.

PA Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti was also present. The PA deputy speaker felicitated Pervaiz Elahi on displaying Quranic verses and Ahadith about Khatam-e-Nubawwat ( ) in the new building of the Punjab Assembly.

On the occasion, a strategy was evolved about the current budget session of Punjab. Thanking the religious and political parties of the country, parliamentarians and people, Pervaiz Elahi said, “I am grateful for appreciating the process of displaying Quranic Ayats and Ahadith relating to Khatam-e-Nubawwat ( ) in the new building of Punjab Assembly. The new building of Punjab Assembly has the honour of not only being the biggest parliamentary building of Asia and also being the first building in which Ayats and Ahadith relating to Khatam-e-Nubawwat ( ) have been displayed.”

He said that the new building reflected the elucidation of Islamic Ideology and Ideology of Pakistan. This is a historic achievement and this process will help further highlight Islamic ideas of Pakistan. On completion of this work, no words are enough to express gratitude to Almighty Allah. The initiative taken by PA Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi have also been praised by religious scholars.
