LAKKI MARWAT: The police arrested several wanted criminals and seized arm and ammunition from them in separate actions, officials said on Tuesday.
“The actions were launched on the directives of District Police Officer Imran Khan, who had received credible information about the presence of outlaws in rural areas,” said an official.
He said that the station house officers of police stations concerned were directed to raid the suspected hideouts of criminals and ensure arrests of wanted men at all costs.
A party of Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak Police Station raided a place in Nar Gul Hussain Shah and captured Umar Fayaz, Umar Qayaz and Jan Baz,” said the official, adding that the arrested men were wanted by police in an extortion case.
