Punjab moves to vaccinate all public sector employees

MULTAN: The Punjab government has assigned the targets of preparing lists of departments to ensure vaccination for all public servants. The heads of departments would be responsible for unvaccinated staff, officials said on Friday.

“Lists of Corona vaccination teams and daily roaster have been compiled by the Punjab Health Dept. A strategy has been devised to ensure vaccination for all the public servants including vaccination of all employees of Police and Prisons Depts. Besides, contacting employers for vaccination of workers of large industrial units and elected public representatives, scholars are being consulted to make the vaccination campaign a success”, officials added.

The government has devised a plan for the vaccination of students in madrassas, officials said. The administration said that citizens should not listen to misleading propaganda about Corona vaccination as it has been approved by the Drug Regulatory Authority and the World Health Organization.
