Police post inaugurated in Mardan

TAKHTBHAI: The outgoing Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Sanaullah Abbasi on Thursday inaugurated a new police post in Saidabad area of the Takhtbhai tehsil of the district.
The IGP inaugurated the new building of Saidabad police post during a brief visit to the district. DIG Yaseen Farooq, DG Police Coordination Unit Syed Ashfaq Anwar, DPO Dr Zahidullah Khan and other officials were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
On the occasion, the top cop said that the establishment of the new police post would facilitate the public to access the police services in the area. “The sacrifices rendered by the police for peace can’t be forgotten,” he added. Later, the IGP also planted a sapling in the police post premises.
